(01) The Residence

A study in contemporary craft.

Set behind a façade of warm-toned brick, blackened metalwork, and a single mature oak, 616 Ridge is a contemporary residence built around the rituals of daily life. Light pours through full-height steel-framed glazing, washing across light oak floors and rising into double-height volumes that anchor the home's vertical geometry.

Inside, the plan unfolds as a sequence of considered rooms — a formal dining flanked by a slatted-oak partition, a living room scaled for both quiet evenings and gathering, and a kitchen finished in honed quartzite, marble, and white oak. Every junction has been resolved with intent: the way a stair tread meets a riser, the way a tile meets a curve, the way light meets shadow.

Above, the private quarters open to broad views and tall windows. The primary suite continues the home's restrained palette, paired with a spa-quality bath wrapped in patterned stone. This is a residence built to age gracefully — quiet on the street, generous within, and detailed at every scale.
